    Police issue warning following Logan Square, Palmer Square sex assaults

    Police are warning residents after three ladies had been sexually assaulted in Logan Sq. and Palmer Sq..

    The latest assault occurred round 3:40 a.m. Sunday within the 2600 block of North Troy Avenue, police stated. The others occurred Jan. 14 at 9:30 a.m. within the 3400 block of West Armitage Avenue and Jan. 18 within the 2800 block of West Bloomingdale Avenue at 3:10 a.m.

    In every of the assaults, the person approaches ladies from behind, both on the sidewalk or within the hallway of residence buildings, and assaults them; twice he was armed with a pointy object, police stated.

    The person is described as unshaven, with brief black hair, brown eyes and between the ages of 29 and 35, police stated. He stands between 5 toes 6 and 5 toes 10.
