A South Aspect Metra line was delayed Saturday evening after a practice struck a automotive in Washington Heights.

A Chicago-bound Metra Rock Island practice hit a automotive round 7:30 p.m. close to the 103rd Road station at 10355 S. Vincennes Ave. in Washington Heights, Metra mentioned. Passengers have been transferred to a different practice that continued to La Salle Road station in Chicago.

Different inbound trains have been stopped, and the length of the delay was unknown. Passengers scheduled to depart La Salle Road station at 8:25 p.m. have been moved to a distinct practice, which made stops as much as Blue Island, Metra mentioned.
