After trading star outfielder Kyle Tucker to the Chicago Cubs final week, the Houston Astros made a much-needed addition to their lineup on Friday in free-agent first baseman Christian Walker.
Agreeing to a three-year, $60M deal, the power-hitting right-handed slugger is transferring to a ballpark that matches his hitting profile completely.
Over the past three seasons, Walker has averaged 32 dwelling runs and 94 RBI with a .250/.332/.481 slash line whereas successful three Nationwide League Gold Glove Awards.
