    French President Emmanuel Macron thanks all who ‘saved, helped, rebuilt’ beloved cathedral after devastating 2019 fireplace.

    World leaders have gathered within the French capital for the reopening of the Notre-Dame Cathedral, 5 years after the UNESCO World Heritage web site was severely broken in a fireplace that drew a world outpouring of help.
