Professor Nancy Fraser tells Marc Lamont Hill why she believes capitalism is on the root of a number of world crises.

The world is dealing with a number of crises concurrently: Local weather change, the rise of authoritarian actions, and the exploitation of labour from the International South, amongst others. Professor of philosophy and politics on the New Faculty, Nancy Fraser, says “it may’t be a coincidence” – on the root of all of it is capitalism.

So how do resistance actions construct an influence sufficiently big to combat again? And can it take a basic restructuring of society?

This week on UpFront, Marc Lamont Hill speaks with professor of philosophy and politics on the New Faculty, Nancy Fraser.
