Some restaurant chains working in Chicago and throughout the nation are providing Veterans Day specials on Monday.
Most require proof of service, equivalent to a type of veteran, army or military-dependent identification — equivalent to a Veteran ID Card or DD214 card displaying time of service. Many provides are restricted to dine-in consuming.
Among the many offers:
Starbucks: free espresso
Veterans, service members and army spouses get a free “tall” 12-ounce brewed espresso, scorching or iced, on Monday at taking part Starbucks shops. Chilly Brew isn’t included.
Buffalo Wild Wings: free wings
Veterans and present members of the armed providers with a legitimate ID can get 10 free boneless wings and fries on Monday. The supply is nice for dine-in and, if ordering from a Buffalo Wild Wings Go location, for walk-in and orders positioned on the counter solely.
Applebee’s: free menu
Veterans and active-duty army, reserves and Nationwide Guard can get a free meal Monday at Applebee’s from a Veterans Day menu that features a six-ounce sirloin, “Basic Bacon Cheeseburger” and “Double Crunch Shrimp.”
Chili’s: free entree
Veterans and energetic army personnel can get a free entree from a Veterans Day menu that doesn’t embrace drinks.
Bar Louie: free burger
Veterans and energetic members o the army can get a free burger once they dine in on Monday.
