“Regardless of [Foreign Minister] David Lammy, Commerce Secretary Jonathan Reynolds MP and different Ministers repeatedly reiterating within the Home of Commons that the Authorities has ended this direct provide of F-35 [fighter jets] components, the proof signifies that they’ve continued to ship direct shipments of parts for deadly F-35 jets to Israel after September 2024 – and that these shipments are ongoing,” it added.

In September, Lammy introduced the suspension of 29 arms export licences, out of 350, that had been used throughout Israel’s warfare on Gaza.

Lammy stated the federal government had discovered there had been a “clear danger” that the licences “may be used to commit or facilitate a critical violation of worldwide humanitarian regulation”. He stated the continuing licences coated objects akin to “goggles and helmets to be used by one of many UK’s closest allies”.

The report used information from the Israel Tax Authority and concluded that Lammy had “misled” Parliament and the general public about arms exports to Israel.

Former Labour shadow Chancellor John McDonnell stated the federal government has lots of “explaining to do” in response to the report.

“If Parliament has been misled by the International Secretary or any minister it’s a resigning matter and extra importantly it attracts probably a cost of complicity in warfare crimes. The Authorities has shrouded its arms provides to Israel in secrecy,” McDonnell stated.

Former chief of the Labour Get together and impartial MP, Jeremy Corbyn, stated the report may clarify why the federal government has not responded to a name for a public inquiry into the UK’s position in Israel’s army assault.

“When will the UK authorities come clear concerning the actuality of army cooperation with Israel? The general public deserves to know the total scale of the UK’s complicity in crimes towards humanity – and we aren’t going wherever till we’ve established the reality,” he stated.

The International Workplace instructed Al Jazeera that the federal government has suspended the “related licences” that may be used to “commit or facilitate critical violations of Worldwide Humanitarian Regulation in Gaza.”
