A person who was brandishing a firearm in Washington, D.C., was shot by Secret Service officers close to the White Home on Sunday morning, the Secret Service stated.
The person, who is assumed to have been touring from Indiana, had been flagged to the Secret Service by native police as a possible suicide threat, based on the company. Officers got here throughout the person’s automobile, and located him close by with a firearm, when an armed confrontation ensued, the Secret Service stated.
The person was transported to a close-by hospital, and his situation is up to now unknown. No Secret Service personnel are thought to have been harmed.
President Donald Trump was at his residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, on the time of the capturing, which occurred only one block away from the White Home.
