Mangione’s legal professional, Karen Friedman Agnifilo, issued a press release shortly after Bondi’s directive, saying, “By in search of to homicide Luigi Mangione, the Justice Division has moved from the dysfunctional to the barbaric. Their resolution to execute Luigi is political and goes in opposition to the advice of the native federal prosecutors, the regulation, and historic precedent.”
Along with the federal indictment, Mangione is being charged in Pennsylvania and New York, where he faces murder and terrorism charges.
