For the second straight NASCAR Cup Collection race at Bristol Motor Speedway, Kyle Larson took the sphere behind the woodshed.
After dominating the 2024 Bristol night time race and Saturday’s Xfinity Collection race en path to victories, Larson put the same beatdown on the sphere on Sunday, main 412 laps in his second win of 2025 and his third Cup Collection win at Bristol.
Larson swept the phases and led 412 laps — together with 350 in a row from Lap 40 to Lap 389 — within the victory.
Larson’s win comes simply days after Hendrick Motorsports Communications Director Jon Edwards — who labored carefully with each Larson and Corridor of Famer Jeff Gordon — tragically handed away. Many groups ran decals honoring Edwards on their automobiles all through the race weekend at Bristol.
“This one’s positively for Jon,” Larson instructed Fox Sports activities. “We will miss him. Profitable weekend right here, I want he was going to be with us right here to have a good time, however I do know he is celebrating in spirit.”
“Simply one other flawless race right here at Bristol for the No. 5 group,” he continued. “I do not know what number of laps of inexperienced we ran there, however it was enjoyable. (I) felt like I did a reasonably good job in site visitors.”
