The Roki Sasaki sweepstakes was over.
Sasaki announced via Instagram that he was signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers had been considered the favorites for his companies since he was posted and had scouted Sasaki since 2019. His resolution to hitch the star-studded Dodgers was hardly a shock.
Nonetheless, Sasaki’s time with the Dodgers may be short-lived. Former MLB common supervisor Jim Bowden mentioned on “Foul Territory” that “a number of entrance places of work” consider the Dodgers and Sasaki had a deal in place earlier than he was posted. Bowden additional said that he feels a number of groups will ask the league to research the signing.
