In commemoration of the twentieth anniversary of the Volunteer Companies Division on the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, our workers humbly gives a collective remembrance to memorialize the 191 volunteers who’ve handed over the past 20 years. These devoted people faithfully served our establishment and the Springfield group by sharing the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln with our guests from all over the world.
Our group is ever indebted to those high-quality individuals who served as ambassadors of Springfield and central Illinois. Their every day interactions with our visitors and detailed work and analysis in our library highlighted our state’s wealthy historical past and the numerous historic and distinctive individuals and locations in our metropolis and all through Illinois. We perceive and acknowledge that a lot of the success of the ALPLM is as a result of excessive requirements and high quality work of our educated volunteer crew.
Our company stands on the shoulders of the volunteers who’ve served and proceed to serve us. We’re eternally grateful for his or her beneficiant donation of their time and abilities and supply our sincerest condolences to the households and mates of those dedicated volunteers as we honor their recollections.
We love and miss you all.
