A 4-year-old was shot and critically wounded after a gunman opened hearth on a minivan Wednesday evening in McKinley Park.
The motive force of the minivan, a 23-year-old man, was heading south within the 3100 block of South Ashland Avenue about 7:10 p.m. when the driving force behind him pulled out a gun and fired photographs, Chicago police mentioned.
The boy, a passenger within the minivan, suffered a gunshot wound to the again, police mentioned. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in vital situation.
The motive force and different passengers within the minivan — two adults and three different youngsters — weren’t injured, police mentioned.
No arrests had been reported.
