The FBI is investigating the theft of an armored automobile Friday at a south suburban financial institution.
Police responded simply earlier than 4:30 p.m. to the U.S. Financial institution at 11960 Western Ave. in Blue Island following reviews that three males armed with handguns robbed an armored automobile, in response to the FBI.
The robbers are described as three males of their late teenagers to early 20s with medium builds. They wore dark-colored sweatpants and hooded sweatshirts, and light-weight grey gloves, the FBI stated.
The thieves fled in a automobile and are nonetheless at-large, the FBI stated.
