A person was fatally shot by a McHenry County sheriff’s deputy Thursday afternoon in unincorporated Crystal Lake.
McHenry County sheriff’s deputies have been dispatched to a home incident round 4:25 p.m. within the 300 block of Briarwood Highway once they made contact with an armed particular person, the McHenry County sheriff’s workplace stated in a press launch.
The gunman then barricaded himself within the residence and after unsuccessful makes an attempt to get him out safely, a deputy shot the unidentified particular person and he was later pronounced lifeless, officers stated.
