    Man tried luring girl walking to school in Little Village, police say

    Chicago police are looking for a person who allegedly tried to lure a woman as she walked to highschool Tuesday in Little Village.

    The woman was strolling within the 2400 block of South Trumbull Avenue when the person, who additionally was on the sidewalk, waved for her to return towards him, however the woman crossed the road to keep away from him, Chicago police stated. It’s unclear what time the incident occurred.

    Moments later, the person drove up alongside the woman in a grey GMC Acadia and requested her the place he may promote clothes. He then requested the woman for her age, the place she was going, about her social media accounts and the way he may contact her, in response to police.

    The woman by no means engaged with the person, and the person drove away from the world northbound on Homan Avenue, police stated.

    The person was described as a Hispanic in his 20s or 30s with brown or black hair and a thin construct, in response to police.
