A person probably making an attempt to remain heat apparently began a hearth in a storage space for a preferred Lincoln Park restaurant early Friday.
The person and a firefighter had been taken to hospitals when propane tanks started burning at 4:20 a.m. at Cafe Brauer, 2021 N. Stockton Drive, Chicago Fireplace Division officers stated.
“The fireplace was within the shed the place the propane tanks are saved,” stated fireplace division spokesperson Larry Langford. “The tanks had been on fireplace.”
