    2 held in armed carjacking in Grand Boulevard

    Two males have been charged with carjacking a girl at gunpoint Friday afternoon in Grand Boulevard.

    Alphanso Talley and Donvon McClary took a automotive from a 25-year-old girl about 2:40 p.m. within the 4700 block of South Calumet Avenue, Chicago police stated.

    About half-hour after the carjacking, Talley, 25, was arrested within the 6500 block of South Bishop Road and McClary, 21, was taken into custody within the 5900 block of South Might Road, police stated.

    Each males are charged with two felony counts of aggravated vehicular hijacking and armed theft. McClary faces a further felony depend of illegal possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Talley can be charged with misdemeanor driving with out a license.

    The 2 males had been ordered held in custody following their preliminary courtroom hearings Sunday. Their subsequent courtroom dates are Friday.
