One man is lifeless and one other is in essential situation after they have been each wounded in a shootout by a person they have been allegedly attempting to rob in North Lawndale Friday morning, police mentioned.
The 2 alleged robbers, ages 20 and 42, approached one other man within the 800 block of South Homan Avenue round 5:20 a.m. and introduced a theft, in keeping with Chicago police. The robbers and sufferer fired pictures at one another and the 42-year-old man was shot within the head and was lifeless on the scene.
The 20-year-old man was shot within the neck and brought to Mount Sinai Hospital in essential situation.
The theft sufferer was a licensed gun proprietor and had a sound Firearm Homeowners Identification card and hid carry license, police mentioned. He was taken to St. Anthony Hospital in good situation for commentary.
